This page can afford to be short because the storage it describes is small. OmegleGirls writes exactly two values to your browser to make the site function, and runs analytics only after you press accept on the consent bar. Camera video, microphone audio, and chat messages are never stored or measured by this site — full stop.
The two essential values
Both live in your browser's localStorage rather than in cookies attached to requests; neither leaves your device. Without them the site cannot remember two decisions you make yourself:
omeglegirls:age-confirmed:v1 is written when you confirm at the 18+ gate that you are an adult, and exists so the gate does not reappear every time you press a chat button. omeglegirls:analytics-consent:v1 records what you chose on the consent bar — including a refusal, since remembering "no" is the only way to keep honouring it.
Analytics are gated behind the consent bar
Until you press accept, no analytics code loads at all — not set to anonymous, not paused, simply absent. Accepting loads two tools, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity, which tell us which pages get read and which links get used so we know where to spend writing effort. Declining, or never touching the bar, leaves the site working exactly the same with neither tool present.
When they do load, GA4 and Clarity set cookies governed by Google's and Microsoft's own policies and retention schedules, which sit outside our control and apply alongside this page.
What is never collected
No conversation content, no camera frames, no microphone audio, and no typed messages are collected, transmitted, or stored by this website. The events we do measure carry a page path, a button label, a position, and a topic tag — engineering telemetry, not surveillance. The camera check is the clearest case: its preview never leaves your machine at all.

Changing your choice
Nothing here is permanent. Decline on the consent bar and analytics stay off in that browser; if you accepted before and regret it, clearing the site's data wipes both keys and puts you back at a clean start, where the bar will ask again.
- Declining on the consent bar stops analytics loading from then on.
- Chrome / Edge: padlock icon → site settings → delete data for this site.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → remove this site.
- Firefox: padlock menu → Clear cookies and site data.
- Note that clearing data also forgets your age confirmation — the 18+ gate will reappear at the next chat button.
Browser-level defences work here too: blocking third-party cookies, private windows, and content blockers all prevent the analytics tools from loading, and every page on the site reads normally regardless.

The table above is meant to be exhaustive. Any storage key added or retired gets reflected here in the same change, with a new effective date at the top. If an analytics tool is not named on this page, this site does not run it.
